Performance: UJMPUniversal Java Matrix Package (UJMP) aims to be an umbrella library that allows access to any/all other linear algebra. The intention is that users should be able to pick and choose which library best suit their needs. To determine which library would be best to use depending on opertaion and matrix size the author of UJMP created a benchmark. Extensive work was done to benchmark a large number of different libraries/implementations, all that are supported by UJMP, but work on this seems to have been abandoned. This test was executed 2010-01-11 with the then latest snapshot of the test code and ojAgo version. All other libraries are updated to the latest released version as of some time in december 2009. MacPro, 2 x 2.26 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon, 6 GB 1066 MHz DDR3, OS X 10.6.1 (64-bit kernel), JVM 1.6 64-bit Benchmark results in a text file. Download the file. Open it in a text editor, and turn line wrapping off. |
